Thunder Bay Police Service Arrest Suspect in Dease Street Shooting

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police Service has announced that they have made an arrest in a shooting on October 8, 2019, on Dease Street.

HOLLY PAPASSAY was the subject of an arrest warrant in connection with a shooting at a Dease Street residence on the evening of October 8, 2019 which sent a male victim to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment of his injuries.

Investigators took 48-year-old Holly Emma PAPASSAY into custody on Monday October 14, 2019, at approximately 3:00 pm at a McLaughlin Street address. PAPASSAY appeared in court this morning, facing a charge of Attempted Murder. She has been remanded into custody and will appear tomorrow morning in court.

The TBPS Major Crime Unit investigation into the October 8th shooting continues.
