THUNDER BAY – Construction season continues. The COTB advises that the CN Rail crossings on Neebing Avenue between Walsh Street West and Mary Street West, and on Northern Avenue between Harold Street and Harold Crescent, are scheduled to be rehabilitated. During the work, both streets will be closed to through traffic.

Work will begin on Monday, Sept. 30 and is expected to be completed by Saturday, Oct. 5.

Those traveling on Neebing Avenue will be detoured at Walsh Street and Mary Street.

Those traveling on Northern Avenue will be detoured at Vickers Street North and Harold Crescent.

The construction schedule is subject to change, as various factors – such as weather – can have an impact on project timelines.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible, and those traveling in the area are asked to use extra caution and obey all posted signage.
