A Conversation with Marten Falls Chief Bruce Achneepineskum

THUNDER BAY – Chief Bruce Achneepineskum sat down with James Murray from NetNewsledger recently to discuss developments in Marten Falls First Nation.

Marten Falls is working on a number of positive projects including the recent forestry announcement which will bring 200 jobs in the forestry sector to people gaining work experience with training from the Oshki Wenjack Learning Institute and Confederation College.

Marten Falls First Nation is an Anishinaabe First Nation reserve located in northern Ontario. The First Nation occupies communities on both sides of the Albany River in Northern Ontario, including Ogoki Post in the Cochrane District and Marten Falls in the Kenora District.
