Kenora Police Seek Stolen Firearms

KENORA – The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Northwest Unit Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating the theft of three firearms.

On Friday, August 23, 2019 at approximately 12:00 a.m, police received a report that three firearms were taken from a pick-up truck situated on Pickerel Lake Road.

The outstanding firearms are described as:

1. Remington, 12 gauge pump action shotgun

2. Ruger, lever action, 300 calibre rifle

3. Kimber, bolt action 308 calibre rifle

The investigation is continuing and if anyone has any information to contact the Kenora OPP at 1-807-548-5534 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
