OTTAWA – The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that they are examining the Ethics Commission’s report on Prime Minister Trudeau and the Privy Council Office over the handling of the SNC-Lavalin matter.
“The RCMP is examining this matter carefully with all available information and will take appropriate actions as required,” spokesperson Chantal Payette said in a statement on Wednesday. “It would be inappropriate for us to provide any more comments on this matter at this time.”
