THUNDER BAY – The report on Prime Minister Trudeau and SNC Lavalin brought down on Wednesday by Canada’s Ethics Commissioner has taken off on social media.
Hashtags like #standwithtrudeau and #trudeaumustgotojail have started. The issue has become quite partisan as it may well be expected. The election which is scheduled for this October has had campaigning going on for weeks now.
Political activists and operatives alike are in full action mode on this one.
So are many journalists, including Charles Adler.
#BrokenEthics PM @JustinTrudeau I would encourage you to take a walk in the woods & consider resigning. Please put democracy & country over personal ambition. I am certain that you have been taught by elders that the honourable path is always the correct one. Thank you.
