Superior West Region – Thunderstorm Warning in Effect

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Environment Canada has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM Warning for areas in Superior West – The Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect for the City of Thunder Bay.

Severe thunderstorm warning in effect for:

  • Cloud Bay – Dorion
  • Kakabeka Falls – Whitefish Lake – Arrow Lake

At 6:35 p.m. EDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.

This severe thunderstorm is located between Gillies and Rosslyn Village is moving south at 40 km/h.

Locations impacted include:
Cloud Bay, Wamsley, Pardee, Crooks and Neebing.
