Jagmeet Singh Says NDP has the “Courage to Act”

THUNDER BAY – Jagmeet Singh the leader of Canada’s New Democratic Party spoke to students and NetNewsLedger in Thunder Bay today (July 30, 2019).

Singh says that the issue of boil water orders in northern communities is a matter of having the courage to act and that the other parties do not have that courage. Singh says, “The NDP has that courage”.

On Bombardier, Singh says that the $1billion dollar VIA Rail contract should have gone to a Canadian company but due to Mr. Trudeau’s negligence in failing to enact Canadian Content it did not.

The NDP leader is in Thunder Bay today, and there is a meet and greet for the public at The Da Vinci Centre at 5:00 PM. Everyone is invited to come out and meet the NDP candidates from across the region.
