North Star Air and Neskantaga First Nation Celebrate Revenue Sharing Results

NESKANTAGA First Nation – A good news day in Neskantaga First Nation as North Star Air held a community meeting to present the revenue sharing agreement cheque to Neskantaga.

North Star Air has partnership agreements with twelve of the communities the airline serves across the north. Part of those agreements is an agreement where North Star Air shares in the revenues generated in the community with cargo, passenger services, and flex flights.

Today in Neskantaga First Nation, North Star Air presented a cheque for $310, 114 to the community and held a celebration.

Chief Chris Moonias and his council accepted the revenue-sharing agreement cheque and are looking to invest the windfall into some additional revenue building investments, as well as looking at putting some of the funds into community programming.
