WINNIPEG – RCMP in Manitoba remains hard at work searching for Kam McLeod and Bryer Schmegelsky the suspects in three homicides in British Columbia.
The RCMP state “Our officers are working diligently to find these suspects and we will release updates as soon as we have concrete, confirmed information to share. We understand many people are experiencing fear & uncertainty over this incident but spreading online rumours doesn’t help.”
There have been social media posts and tweets putting the two suspects in the United States.
RCMP report that the vehicle found burnt near Gilliam Manitoba in the far north of the province is confirmed as the vehicle the suspects were travelling in. There have been no reports of stolen vehicles in the area, and the RCMP have a roadside check on the highway out.
