THUNDER BAY – LIVING – The City of Thunder Bay is pleased to host My Son the Hurricane at Live on the Waterfront, presented by Ontario Power Generation, on July 24, 2019. My Son the Hurricane will be hitting the stage at 8 pm with their unique style called brasshop, a combination of multi-horns, multi-vocal and multi-drums.
My Son the Hurricane is known for packing dance floors around the country. “This high energy show is a must-see,” said Louisa Costanzo, Cultural Development and Event Supervisor. “Dust off your dancing shoes and head down to Marina Park this Wednesday.”
Joining My Son the Hurricane will be Winnipeg’s six-piece harmonic sensation, House Handshake, along with a Thunder Bay’s own Cold Lake Sun. Alongside the stage show, this week’s Live on the Waterfront will feature performances by acts from the Bay & Algoma Busker’s Festival – Creed Statuary and Mental Floss Side Show.
Live on the Waterfront runs from 6 pm – 9 pm every Wednesday from July 10 to August 28 and is funded in part by the Government of Ontario.
