Bethune Street Fire Still Under Investigation

THUNDER BAY – NEWS -The TBPS Criminal Investigations Branch continue to investigate a July 11, 2019 fire at a home in the 300 block of Bethune Street which claimed the life of a 34-year-old male.

Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue responded to the fire just after 3:00 a.m. on July 11th.    

A male was discovered within the residence was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he was pronounced deceased. 

The incident was determined to be an arson investigation.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.
