THUNDER BAY – The ninth recommendation from the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. This Call to Justice pertains to human and Indigenous rights and governmental obligations:

1.9 We call upon all governments to develop laws, policies, and public education campaigns to challenge the acceptance and normalization of violence.

NetNewsLedger is running all of the recommendations of The National Inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women. #MMIWG – On National Indigenous People’s Day in 2019 NetNewsLedger was told in Thunder Bay that “We don’t talk about Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women anymore – It’s over”.

It isn’t over, sadly it is continuing to go on and on.
