THUNDER BAY – Robert Bortuzzo, of the Stanley Cup-winning St. Louis Blues, will be bringing the Cup to Thunder Bay to celebrate his victory with local residents. A free public event will be held on Tuesday, July 16, from 1 – 3 pm at the DaVinci Centre.

Everyone is welcome to attend and see Robert with the Stanley Cup. Attendees must bring their own camera for photographs, and in order to accommodate as many people as possible, only one picture will be taken per family and no autographs will be signed.

PRO Kids will be onsite selling official St. Louis Blues 2019 Stanley Cup Championship mini sticks for $10 each (while supplies last). All funds raised will be in support of PRO Kids, a registered charity that makes recreation opportunities accessible to Thunder Bay children and youth who are otherwise unable to afford program fees.

Parking will be available throughout neighbourhood streets, and accessible parking will be located in front of the DaVinci Centre building. Carpooling and use of public transit are encouraged.

Attendees are asked to follow directional signage to line-up for their chance to see the Cup. Seating will be available within the line-ups inside of the venue, and the stage will be fully accessible. If additional accessible accommodations are required, residents can contact the Office of the City Clerk at 625-2230, to make arrangements.

Special thanks to Robert Bortuzzo and his family for all of their efforts in helping to plan this celebration and share the Stanley Cup with the community.
