Arrest Made by Winnipeg Police in Homicide

WINNIPEG – An arrest has been made in the latest homicide in Winnipeg.

Members of the Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit have made an arrest in the murder of Jessie Catterson. Donald Leslie PARISIEN, 36, was arrested June 26, 2019. He has been charged with Second Degree Murder and remanded into custody.

As previously released

On May 21, 2019, at approximately 9:50 p.m., emergency personnel responded to the report of an injured male at a residence in the 500 block of Flora Avenue.

Upon arrival, an adult male was located suffering from a stab wound injury. The male was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased.

The deceased male has been identified as Jessie Robert David Catterson, a 36-year-old male of Winnipeg.
