THUNDER BAY – Roads – Highway 590 is washed out at Cedar Creek by Boreal Road.
Almost half of the the road has been washed out, with much of what is remaining being unstable.
Rain over the past twenty-four hours led to water blowing out the culvert out.
This is a major culvert – deep. There is a reported detour at Pool Road or Cronk Road depending on your direction.
Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is advising that Highway 590 is closed between Boreal Road and Adrian Lake Road due to a washout.
