THUNDER BAY – Judith Monteith-Farrell, NDP MPP for Thunder Bay-Atikokan, will host the Thunder Bay film screening of the documentary, Before the Plate, a journey of modern Canadian agriculture.
The documentary follows Canadian chef John Horne in his journey to find the origins of key ingredients used in his downtown Toronto restaurant, Canoe. Along the way, Horne speaks to farmers and industry experts to answer consumer questions about where our food comes from.
The film screening will be followed by a panel featuring local farmers.
Local snacks will be provided.
