TORONTO – A day of happiness and celebration has been marred by reports of gunfire in Toronto at Nathan Phillips Square where the NBA Toronto Raptor and their fans have been celebrating the championship win.
Toronto Police have reported that apparently a woman has been shot after gunfire, some reports on Twitter suggesting up to four shots were fired.

Toronto police are reporting that two victims have been located following the shooting incident at Nathan Phillips Square. Two people also taken into custody and two firearms recovered. Injuries described as serious, but non-life-threatening
Organizers urge calm stating that no one is asked to leave the area. The Prime Minister and other dignitaries remained on stage. The event continues after a brief pause.
