PICKLE LAKE – The fire hazard in Pickle Lake is not as serious as it was. The Township states, “At this time we are NOT ISSUING AN EVACUATION NOTICE OR A STATE OF EMERGENCY the Municipality is downgrading to a 12 hour notice to move if necessary.”

Rooms have been released in Sioux Lookout. School will be open tomorrow.

Anyone registered for CPR tomorrow-the course is still active tomorrow.

The weather is expected to remain in our favour with rain moving in.

There are also helicopters in the air keeping an eye on things. Crews are still on the ground suppressing and actively providing asset protection.

Water bombers are still on the ground in Pickle Lake at the airport if they are needed. There is very little fire activity today.

Landlines are expected to be restored tomorrow/tuesday.

If you require ems please call 928-2255
