KENORA – It is looking like summer weather is hitting the Kenora region.
Heat Warning in effect for:
- Kenora – Grassy Narrows – Whitedog
- Sioux Narrows – Nestor Falls – Morson
The first heat event of the season is expected today and Saturday as a warm air mass moves over parts of Northwestern Ontario from the United States.
Maximum daytime temperatures are expected to be near 30 degrees Celsius both today and Saturday with minimum overnight temperatures near 18 degrees Celsius.
Cooler air is expected to arrive on Sunday.
Drink plenty of water even before you feel thirsty and stay in a cool place.
