Stolen Car Recovered – Four Face Charges

THUNDER BAY – An observant Thunder Bay Police Service officer on general patrol spotted a possible stolen vehicle being driven in the area of Vickers Street North near Cameron Street East just before 2 am on Wednesday, June 5.

After checking and confirming the sedan had been reported stolen on June 3, officers conducted a traffic stop at the corner of Memorial Avenue and the Harbour Expressway.

Four individuals – a 52-year-old male, 19-year-old male, 23-year-old female and 20-year-old female – were arrested without incident.

All four have been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

They are scheduled to appear in court today.
