Plumbers and Pipefitters on Strike

THUNDER BAY – BUSINESS – The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada went on a province wide strike.

Here in Thunder Bay, UA Local 628 is part of that province-wide strike and their members are picketing at a few locations across the city.

The Thunder Bay District Labour Council asks, “In solidarity with these Union members it would be helpful if other Unions supported local 628 on their picket lines. If possible, please stop by the lines and offer support to these workers.”

Here are the picket locations for this week. Thermal and A. Villeneuve will be covered together.
