Assault on South Side Leaves Woman in Hospital

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Langworthy Crescent at about 3 a.m. Tuesday, May 14 for reports of an injured female.

Paramedics transported the injured woman to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where she was treated for her injuries. She remains at the hospital in stable condition.

Through the course of an investigation, police learned the woman’s injuries were the result of an assault. Police identified a female suspect, who has since been arrested.

The accused and victim were known to each other. Police have processed and released the scene. The investigation into this incident continues.
