Winnipeg Police Investigate Homicide

WINNIPEG – On May 5, 2019, at approximately 3:40 am, West District General Patrol officers with the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a disturbance in an apartment building within the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue. This was Winnipeg’s 14th homicide of 2019.

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive adult male inside a suite. The male was transported to critical condition and has since succumbed to his injuries.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
