THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are investigating another robbery, this one from Sunday, April 28, 2019. In a media release issued on Thursday, May 2, 2019, the Thunder Bay Police Service is asking the public for assistance in identifying the person involved in a recent convenience store robbery.
Officers were dispatched to the Circle K convenience store on 915 Red River Road at about 11:30 pm on Sunday, April 28 for a robbery that had just occurred.
Police learned a male had entered the store brandishing a knife, approached the counter and demanded cigarettes.
The male fled the business in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of store product.
The accused is described as standing about 5’9” tall. He wore a black jacket with a grey hoodie underneath, black pants, black shoes, and a dark bandana covering his face at the time of the robbery.
