Dryden – Fire Destroys Trans-Canada Motel and Restaurant

DRYDEN – Firefighters from the Dryden Fire Service and the Oxdrift Volunteer Fire Department along with Dryden Police and EMS Paramedics were busy on Good Friday this year.

A fire at the vacant Trans-Canada Motel and Restaurant was reported to Dryden Fire Service at about 3:00 am CDT. The crews spent the early morning hours and the day putting out the fire.

The building was destroyed by the fire. The cause of the blaze is not known at present and is under investigation.
