THUNDER BAY – Anonymous threat #14 has closed Hammarskjold High School for another day.

Due to an anonymous threat received by Thunder Bay Police, Hammarskjold High School will be closed for the entire day today, Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

Buses will be returning students home. Students without keys will be dropped off at Superior CVI. All efforts will be made to reopen on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Hold and secures lifted at all schools. Hammarskjold Closed for the Day.

The following schools are on a Hold and Secure until further notice Algonquin Avenue Public School, CD Howe Public School and Gron Morgan Public School.

As a precaution from a threat at a neighbouring school, the following schools are placed in Hold and Secure: St. Pius X School, Gateway, Bishop E.Q. Jennings Senior Elementary School, Corpus Christi Elementary School & St. Bernard Elementary School.
