DRYDEN – The Board of Directors of the Dryden Regional Health Centre is pleased to announce that Dr. Bruce Cook has been appointed Chief of Staff for a three-year term effective July 1, 2019.
Born and raised in Dryden, Dr. Cook has been a Family Physician providing primary care, inpatient, emergency, and obstetrical care in Dryden since 2012. As a strong leader, he has demonstrated his commitment to collegiality, the patient experience, and the delivery of safe, quality care during his term as Chief of the Emergency Services, Chief of Inpatient Services, and member of the Medical Advisory Committee.
“As Chief of Staff, Dr. Cook will be responsible for the quality of medical services provided from the Dryden Regional Health Centre,” explains Sandra Boyko, Chair of the Board of Directors. “His focus on the patient experience, efficiency, and delivery of Care That Works has been an asset to the organization for many years already. Appointing Dr. Cook to Chief of Staff has been done with every confidence in his professional capability and leadership skills, and his ongoing dedication to our patients, the organization, and our community.”
