Thunder Bay Police Say This Was Targeted Event

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police are reporting that the apparent victim of a kidnapping on Court Street reported yesterday has been located and spoken to by police.

The victim connected to this abduction case has been safely located Thunder Bay Police state. Police now believe this was a targeted event.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of an abduction on Court Street near Renco Foods after 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Police learned a male victim had been assaulted by three other males before being forced into a black sports utility vehicle and driven away from the scene.

As a result of this ongoing investigation police located and spoke to the victim.
