Police Investigate Sudden Death as Homicide

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police state that the sudden death reported earlier today is now being treated as a homicide.

A post-mortem is being scheduled to take place in Toronto.

The scene is still being held and police continue to ask the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.

Earlier: Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of an unresponsive woman on a bike path in the County Fair area just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, March 19.

A passerby called 911 after seeing the body on a path near the Landmark Inn.

As a result of the continued investigation, this case is now being treated as a homicide.
