Musab Khamis Saboon Expected to Surrender to Kitchener Police

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – CTV Television in Kitchener is reporting that the father of a man wanted in the First Degree Murder and Kidnapping of Lee CHIODO says his son will be turning himself into police in Kitchener. Thunder Bay Police issued a Canada Wide Warrant for the arrest of Musab Khamis SABOON, 27, of Kitchener, Ontario.

“According to Saboon’s father, the wanted man will soon be turning himself in. Thunder Bay police echoed that statement in a press conference today”, according to the report.

“We have received information that he is in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, and he’s possibly going to turn himself into Waterloo Regional police today,” says Det. Insp. Ryan Hughes.”

Police have confirmed that Lee CHIODO was shot to death. They have not stated if he was murdered and dropped off on Mission Island where his body was discovered on February 24, 2019.

Police are saying however the homicide is drug related but have not elaborated on exactly what that means.

Police while they are expecting that the suspect will turn himself in are advising the public to not approach Saboon who they have described as dangerous.
