DRYDEN – School Bus Transportation has been cancelled for the day in the Dryden/Vermilion Bay areas. This is due to the fact that many areas have not been cleared over the weekend and what was cleared blew back in with the high winds over the day yesterday.
It would not have been possible for plows to keep up under those conditions. We recognize that the day today is cold and clear however these cancellations relate to our ability to safely access the rural/side road areas.
Families are welcome to call the Consortium and we will explain how the information is collected and a decision is made. Your Bus Operators have been on the roads since 4:00 a.m. checking conditions.
Schools remain open.
