THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Environment Canada has updated the Winter Storm Warning for Thunder Bay. While only light snow fell overnight, along with at times freezing drizzle, Environment Canada is still calling for 15 to 20 cm of snow today and blowing snow this afternoon and evening.
The weather service says snow will be heavy at times this morning through the evening.
In addition, northwesterly wind gusts of 60 to 80 km/h are expected this morning through tonight resulting in very poor visibility in blowing snow.
Conditions will improve Monday morning as winds diminish.
