THUNDER BAY – Roads across the city are slippery. Highways across the region are equally slippery. Earlier today, a collision on Highway 61 closed easy access for First Responders to Fort William First Nation.

A Thunder Bay Transit bus was involved in a collision earlier today as well. No injuries were reported in that MVA. Earlier this evening there was another accident at Victoria and Lillie Street, at the site where the City of Thunder Bay is looking to replace the street lights with a round-about.

As the winter storm starts to hit the region, local roads are likely to see driving conditions deteriorate. Make sure IF you do have to travel on Sunday that you first make sure the trip is really important.
