DULUTH – WEATHER – A strong Winter Storm will affect the Northland this Saturday night into Sunday.

The heaviest snowfall will mainly be over northern Wisconsin and portions of the Minnesota Arrowhead.

Winter Storm watches are still in effect for these areas.

Some parts of northwest Wisconsin could see up to a foot of snow.

Travel could become very difficult, especially over northwest Wisconsin.

Strong winds will develop through the day Sunday with gusts of 30 mph (50km/h) to around 50 mph (80 km/h) possible with the highest gusts occurring along the North Shore.
