Charlie Angus – I will take the Minister to Cat Lake Myself

2201

OTTAWA – POLITICS – Cat Lake First Nation remains in crisis. Federal New Democrat MP Charlie Angus just returned from a trip to the northern Ontario community.

Cat Lake has declared a state of emergency over a crisis with mould infested homes and youth and Elders in the community suffering health problems as a result.

Angus has been calling out Minister Seamus O’Regan over not acting to solve the problems. The NDP MP says that the Minister has been “hiding under his desk”.

Last week, Angus said that the Minister offered a “Grab Bag from Home Depot” to Cat Lake to solve the problems.
