Weather Alerts Ended for Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – WEATHER – Environment Canada has ended the special weather statement for Thunder Bay. The weather service reports that the city will now receive 5 to 10 cm of snow, less than the twenty cm of snow predicted earlier.

For Thunder Bay today, expect winds to be northeast 20 km/h gusting to 40. Today’s temperature steady near minus 15. Wind chill near minus 27.

For tonight, the forecast is calling for periods of snow ending near midnight then partly cloudy. The amount of snow another 2 cm. Wind north 20 km/h gusting to 40 becoming light overnight. Low minus 26. Wind chill minus 27 in the evening and minus 35 overnight.
