Westjet Flight 700 diverted to Thunder Bay

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Passengers onboard Westjet Flight 700 from Vancouver to Toronto have an unexpected overnight stay in Thunder Bay. The flight left the Vancouver International Airport at 06:45 AM PST headed to Toronto.

Westjet says that an onboard medical emergency caused the flight to divert to Thunder Bay.

The company is now re-routing passengers to get them to their destination. However, some of the passengers are likely to be spending the night in Thunder Bay.

There were 134 passengers onboard the Westjet flight.
