EDMONTON – WEATHER – Winter storm and snowfall alerts are expected to bring 15 to 30 centimetres of snow through the weekend across parts of Alberta. The storm is expected to continue until the weekend before tapering off on Sunday.
Environment Canada has alerts and warnings out across Central Alberta including the City of Edmonton, Jasper National Park, and the central region of the province.
Beginning today, heavy snow is expected across Alberta that will continue until Sunday, bringing with it poor driving conditions and low visibility on highways.
Drivers should consider postponing non-essential travel.
