TORONTO – WEATHER – Updated – Environment Canada has ended the Winter Storm Warning for Toronto.

Earlier: In Toronto, the city is facing a winter storm tonight. Reports from Thunder Bay residents in the city are that many amenities in the city are shut down by the weather.

Flights at Pearson International are facing delays or cancellations. Over 200 flights have been cancelled at Pearson today. Check Pearson Flights for updates. Porter Air flights from Billy Bishop Airport to Thunder Bay tonight are cancelled.

Toronto forecast, snow at times heavy. Blowing snow this evening. Local blowing snow late this evening and overnight. Amount 15 to 25 cm. Wind east 40 km/h gusting to 70 becoming south 30 gusting to 50 late this evening. Temperature rising to minus 3 by morning. Wind chill minus 15 in the evening and minus 10 overnight.

For Tuesday 29 January expect a mix of sun and cloud with a thirty percent chance of flurries. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 50. Temperature falling to minus 9 in the afternoon. Wind chill minus 12 in the morning and minus 18 in the afternoon. UV index 2 or low.
