Greenstone – OPP Seek Armed Robbery Suspect

GREENSTONE, ON – On the 23 of January 2010 at 12:29 am members of the Greenstone Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment received a report of an armed robbery from a local taxi company in Longlac, ON. The driver was flagged down on Otter Road by a subject wearing blue coveralls and a clown mask. The subject produced a firearm and demanded money. The driver handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled on foot.

An investigation has been commenced by the OPP North West Region Crime Unit with assistance from the Greenstone Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU).

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • 6’3″ or taller
  • Heavy build
  • Blue coveralls with reflective silver stripes on both sides
  • Deep voice
  • was wearing a clown mask at the time of the incident
