Update – Post Mortem Scheduled for Body Found on Highway 527

THUNDER BAY – The Ontario Provincial Police are providing few details on their ongoing investigation of a body found on the side of Highway 527 just north of Thunder Bay.

Spokespersons for the Ontario Provincial Police are not providing many details as to the identity of the dead person. A spokesman for the OPP told NetNewsLedger that the victim of what police suspect is foul play is not from Armstrong.

The OPP told NetNewsLedger that the body found was that of a male. There are no other details available.

A post mortem examination will be scheduled at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) in Toronto.
