THUNDER BAY – LIVING – Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Thunder Bay. The weather service is predicting the storm to start dropping snow this evening and continue into Thursday night.

Snowfall amounts of up to twenty centimetres are predicted.

Over Christmas Day and Boxing Day on the NetNewsLedger Facebook page, people are celebrating the snow, explaining how much they are looking forward to the snow.

What do you want to bet that most people will love sitting at home watching the snowfall. Everyone will love it. The peacefulness

Everyone will love it until it is time to shovel out. Some will probably love the exercise they get shovelling out the snow and wearing off a few of the Christmas dinner calories.

What do you want to bet however that once the City of Thunder Bay starts plowing the snow, and leaving a big snow pile at the end of the driveway, much of that enthusiasm will wane?

Regardless of anything, please make sure that you and your family are prepared for the weather if you are planning to drive somewhere, keep a weather watch on the Road Conditions and weather updates.
