More Child Pornography Charges for Michael Bewcyk

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Service has laid new child pornography-related charges against a Thunder Bay man on Dec. 13, 2018, as a result of an ongoing investigation.

On December 7, 2018, officers with the Cyber Crime Unit executed a search warrant on a Franklin Street North home. As a result of that search police located and seized two computers along with printed materials.

Thunder Bay Forensic Examiners conducted an examination of the seized and found illicit material.

Michael Danial Bewcyk, 70, of Thunder Bay is charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography.

Bewcyk appeared in court Friday and was remanded into custody with a future date of Jan. 3, 2019.
