Thunder Bay Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to reports of an assault just before 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 in the 200 block of Bay Street.

Officers arrived at the corner of Bay and Court Streets and located a female victim who said she had been stabbed by a male.

Officers searched the area and located a suspect matching a description provided to them.

The victim was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre by ambulance.

Lukas Nganga NGUCI, 41, of Thunder Bay, has been charged with Assault with a Weapon. He has been remanded into custody with a future court date.

None of the charges have been proven in a court of law.
