DULUTH MN – On October 23rd, 2018 the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Cloquet PD, Carlton County Sheriff’s Department, and the Duluth Police Department Tactical Response Team executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 900 block of East 6th Street. The search warrant was the result of a Task Force investigation into the sale of methamphetamine at the apartment. During the search, investigators recovered methamphetamine, drug packaging, digital scales, drug paraphernalia, a firearm and firearm ammunition.
Investigators arrested a 36-year-old male from Duluth on probable cause charges of 2nd Degree Sale of a Controlled Substance in a Park Zone and Felon in Possession of Ammunition and a 23-year-old female from Duluth on probable cause charges of 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and Disorderly House.
Investigators also arrested three people who had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
Those arrested were lodged at the St. Louis County Jail pending formal charging by the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office.
