THUNDER BAY – LIVING – Submissions for the Tbaytel for Good Community Fund fall 2018 campaign are being accepted until Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at 4 p.m. EST, which means that any neighbourhood committees, schools, community groups, volunteer associations or organizations seeking project funding have just under one week left to apply.
Tbaytel for Good is a community funding program originally established in 2013. Since that time, Tbaytel has proudly provided nearly $151,000 in funding to support 63 amazing projects and initiatives in 18 communities throughout northern Ontario through the program.
The community fund is currently open to anyone looking to improve a northern Ontario community or neighbourhood located within Tbaytel’s serving territory. Eligible applicants can submit a project idea at the $500, $1,500 or $5,000 level. Submissions entered at the $1,500 and $5,000 levels also require a short video to be submitted describing the project.
