Gunshot Victim Transported to Hospital

THUNDER BAY – UPDATE – Police were dispatched to a residence on Mona Street at approximately 9:35 PM on September 24, 2018, following a report of an assault that had just occurred.

Thunder Bay Police and first responders arrived on the scene to find a male victim who was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Centre by ambulance with a serious gunshot injury.

Police report that a vehicle was seen leaving the area at the time of this incident.

The residence is being held and there will be a police presence in the Mona Street area for this ongoing investigation.
