Edward Street Mac’s Robbed Again

THUNDER BAY – NEWS – Thunder Bay Police are asking for assistance to identify a male responsible for a robbery at the Mac’s Convenience Store located on North Edward Street on September 17, 2018. This store was robbed three times last week, and Thunder Bay Police have that suspect in custody.

This latest robbery, police report happened at approximately 10:40 pm. A male entered the store with his face covered, holding a knife while demanding money and cigarettes.

He left the store with both items. No one was physically injured in this incident.

The suspect is identified as an Indigenous male who is 6’2″ tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a black toque with a team Canada logo and two grey stripes, a white ¼ zip sweatshirt with grey stripes on the bicep, jeans, and blue athletic shoes with yellow stripes.
