Aggravated Assault Charge Laid on 35-Year-Old Man

THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police have a 35-year-old man in custody after an assault last night.

Police say that on September 17, 201,8 at 10:45 p.m. officers were called to an apartment building in the 200 block of Cumming Street on a report of a male who had been assaulted in the hallway.

Officers arrived to find a male in need of medical attention.

The 36-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance for medical attention.

Michael Conrad Drake, 35-years-old from Thunder Bay was taken into custody at this location and has been charged with Aggravated Assault.

He appeared in court this morning and has been remanded into custody.
